Provisional statistics from BEIS released on Thursday 29 August posted a 1.8% increase in the year to the
end of July 2019 in installed UK solar capacity to 13,268.7 MW over 1,010,076 installations. There were
2,644 installations of capacity of 7.5 MW in the month, down 4.5% fewer on a year earlier. At the end of
June 2019 58% of capacity (7,716.7 MW) came from ground-mounted or standalone solar installations.
