Announced on Tuesday 21 January, OVO Group’s intelligent energy platform, Kaluza, has become the first
residential technology platform to provide a paid flexibility service to Distribution Network Operator (DNO),
Western Power Distribution (WPD). Through WPD’s flexibility interface ‘Flexible Power,’ Kaluza delivered a
flexibility service using a portfolio of domestic sonnen batteries in Lincolnshire in response to WPD’s local
network needs at peak demand times.
