West Suffolk Council revealed on Tuesday 13 August that the 12.4MW solar farm at Toggam Farm in Lakenheath, which it owns, generated £1.5mn of income in its third year. This was £100,000 more than anticipated, and brings the total income raised since beginning operation in August 2016 to over £4mn. In the last three years, the amount of funding for public services that has come directly from the solar farm is over £1.2mn.
