Electric vehicle (EV) charging manufacturer EO Charging has entered a partnership with Suffolk County Council and Bulb to launch Plug In Suffolk, the UK’s “first fully open” public EV charging fast charging network. In the Wednesday 6 February announcement, Suffolk County Council said that this meant that EV drivers would simply pay by contactless payment with no need to register with networks or become members of organisations. Plug In Suffolk will see the installation of charging stations (up to 400 individual sockets) across the county at 100 key locations and business addresses.
