On Tuesday 23 July, BEIS announced a consultation on proposed changes to the current Energy Company Obligation (ECO3) scheme. Proposed changes include incorporating the TrustMark Government Endorsed Quality scheme into ECO3 as a route to demonstrating compliance with the most up to date relevant standards and ensuring a sufficient consumer protection process and guarantees are in place. Another proposal is to deliver technical changes to the way First Time Central Heating is treated. This consultation closes on 6 August 2019.
