E.ON has entered a partnership with vehicle leasing company ALD Automotive to develop mobility, financing and energy services across Europe. Announced on Wednesday 6 February, ALD Automotive’s customers will benefit from consultancy, planning, installation, operation and maintenance of future-proof charging infrastructure for corporate sites and home applications. E.ON said that this would allow for more seamless data handling surrounding electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure and fleet management solutions, as well as a more digital, end-to-end service for EV drivers. Additionally, E.ON and ALD Automotive have signed an agreement to foster cooperation between the UK, Denmark, Germany, Sweden and Norway.
