BEIS published the 2019 Q2 Heat Networks Project Pipeline on Tuesday 6 August. The summary brings together the range of investment opportunities across projects supported through the development stages by the Heat Networks Delivery Unit (HNDU) and projects seeking capital support from the Heat Networks Investment Project (HNIP). The 2019 Q2 capex pipeline for projects totals £1.24bn, of which £51mn is under construction and £484.4mn relates to HNIP projects. The remaining £707.11mn falls under the heat mapping and master planning, feasibility and commercialisation and DPD categories. The overall Q2 pipeline shows a significant increase on the Q1 pipeline, which had a capex total of £689mn. However, projects under construction remained at £51mn.
