On Thursday 10 October, BEIS initiated a consultation which will advise the design of the £315mn Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IEFTF). IEFTF is intended to provide funding for capital investment in energy efficiency and decarbonisation over the period to 2023-24. The consultation, which closes on 21 November 2019, seeks to provide guidance for the design of the fund, including who will be eligible to apply, which technologies will be supported, feasibility studies, different types of funding support, and delivery of the fund.
