The latest reforms to the non-domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) came into effect on Tuesday 22 May. To reflect this, the regulator published several new guidance documents on the scheme, covering applications, eligibility, metering requirements, and data submission, along with an updated heat pump installation declaration form. Also published was guidance on the new regulations for shared group loops, which are ground loops connected to two or more heat pumps. As in the domestic RHI, payments will typically made on the basis of the deemed heat demand of each property.
