Energy data and mapping

Data is fundamental to aid in planning and strategy. In the energy sector, it is key to unlocking system and consumer benefits and managing the transition to a low-carbon economy. With energy increasingly decentralised, millions of assets – solar panels, batteries, electric vehicle chargepoints and heat pumps – exist but finding the asset data and being able to compare with other data sets can be a challenge.

Through our Energy Data Hub, Pixie Energy provides transparent, accessible, interoperable and accurate data to support the development of new and innovative business models and technologies.

Our services

The Energy Data Hub is a library of information that can be used to create bespoke maps from data layers. The hub boasts over 65 layers of spatial data including locations of:

  • community energy projects
  • EV charge points
  • substations

and socio-economic data illustrating:

  • digital connectivity
  • fuel poverty
  • energy supplier switching
  • heat network density

For more information and enquiries about bespoke maps using data of your choice contact us on enquiries@pixie-energy.com or 01603 604400.

Alongside the Energy Data Hub, Pixie Energy offers a utilities asset mapping service. This service provides high resolution maps of electricity, telecommunications, gas and water infrastructure in a chosen area. These maps can be used to advise on projects such as waterway management and groundworks.
