Electric vehicle (EV) charging company NewMotion and Ford have reached an agreement to provide European drivers with access to their electric vehicle charging networks. Announced on 11 September, the partnership aims to make charging more accessible to drivers, granting European Ford plug-in hybrids access to NewMotion’s charging network which is currently the largest in Europe. EV drivers will use a charge card and smartphone app to give them access to 118,000 charge points in 30 countries. CEO of New Motion Sytse Zuidema said the partnership will encourage “new opportunities to power up the e-mobility revolution.”
